Second edition of Language Typology and Syntactic Description

I noticed on Amazon recently that they have come out with a second edition
of the three-volume set "Language Typology and Syntactic Description".
I have volumes II and III of the first edition, but I never did get around
to buying volume I, and now I have to choose :)
Has anyone got both editions to compare? The blurb on Amazon says that
there are changes and additions, but does not go into detail; and, to my
disgust, JSTOR is of course not up-to-date enough to reflect any reviews
that may have appeared (they exclude the past 3-5 years from their
archives). Are the changes significant? Are new and interesting types
of language and syntax treated in the second edition?
I do see from looking at the tables of contents that there are many new
articles, some revised, some appear unchanged, and some have disappeared.
Maybe I should start saving up...
