Just in case I confused some of you: I refered to "I'd rather *that* X", not
the (I think) more commonly seen "I'd rather X than Y".
ObConlang:
Ayeri has _-eng_ as an enclitic adverb for 'rather' as well as for the
comparative meaning 'more': cf. _sarongayang-eng_ = I'd rather go and
_baneng_ (ban, 'good' + -eng, 'more') = 'better' or 'rather good' -- it's
ambiguous here, remaining bits of doubt would be expressed in another way.
