I've told friends in my Spanish classes that it should help them with
thie French if they want to retake it, because of the relation the two
languages have with each other. I find Spanish to be fairly straight
forward for me. I guess being linguistically inclined i have an interest
in it, more than my peers who are taking it just for the credit (they
thought I was crazy to keep going in my Spanish studies). Even the
subjunctive, though being a bit tricky and elusive to understand, I
understand it much better than my peers did, and tried on occasion to help
explain it to them.
