I get frowned at for speaking languages my family can't
understand, con or not! Of course the situation is a little
different with us, as Finnish doesn't count among the
unintelligible ones with my woman! :-) FWIW I also get some
frowns for speaking English when concealment from our son is
not the reason for doing so. Speaking of my son and speaking
in conlangs he seems to think that Sohlob sounds like
comics/games/movies sound effects, to deem by his 'answers'
when I speak in it. Must be all the fricatives, affricates
and counter-affricates (my term for fricative+homorganic
stop)! :-D
