As for the similarity between Maggel's writing and the Latin alphabet, it's
quite strong: Maggel's alphabet is a subset of the Latin alphabet, containing
17 out of 26 letters. It's normally written in an uncial form of the Latin
alphabet containing only small letters (no capitals). By saying all that, I'm
strongly giving away the main source of inspiration for Maggel's writing:
Irish ;))) . I just took what Irish did (use less letters than the normal Latin
alphabet to write more phonemes and more unusual ones in non-straightforward
ways) and exaggerated it tenfold ;))))) .
