Proper noun translations

To establish my phonetic constraints (which, after
a few days work, seem to be stabilising toward a
permanent form), I've been playing around with
miscellaneous proper nouns.

*** PRELUDE ***

Representation of non-ASCII characters {
    ^  = lambda (u in but)
    hl = phi    (welsh ll)*
    ht = pi     (unvoiced th)
    hd = psi    (voiced th)
    | after letter = diacritical mark
Footnotes:
   * But not if followed by another l, i.e. [hll].
}

Diacritics {
    b| = mb, d| = nd, p| = mp, t| = nt
    and there's a few others
}

Regular changes will only be explicitely stated
on their first occurence!
