Need sources and root words --- any one know anything about the Na-Déné?

Howdy, y'all,

I'm looking for examples of the Apache language retaining Athabaskan root
words for concepts and objects not found in their environment, like, say,
'caribou' or 'snow'. I would be very grateful if someone could point me some
cites.
