Well, let's see: My fully functional Acrobat Distiller has an option called "Automatically create weblinks" which scans through the document text and creates links wherever humanly possible. So just send the file to me, and I see what I can do. As long as you put the links in a recognizable link-format (starts with "http://" or "mailto:"), it should work.

I'll

first issue. If you send me the PS file, I can probably decrease the size of the resulting PDF file using Acrobat Distiller, with no apparent loss of quality. I could even a low-res and a hi-res version, I you would like it (one for printing and one for on-screen viewing).

They should. I think this list is quite reasonable, especially since Word is pretty much a standard among the common public.

:)) . Wise remark! I always insist on getting unformatted text. So no columns, no page headers etc. no incorporated images, tables etc (the can be provided seperately, off course).

:)) ). You should include page headings that indicate the article. In my experience, this usually makes the different between a bad magazine and a (potentially) good magazine. Every single page of a journal or magazine should be formatted in such a way, that you can recognize immediately which journal it comes from and where it should go in the journal. Maarten
