I've always found it amusing that those who give themselves titles
of nobility always place a Roman number I after their names:
Emperor George I, King Robert I, Queen Karen I, etc.
In The Real World, a sovereign is never referred to as the first
until there is a second with the same name. Queen Anne of England
is still simply Queen Anne because there has never been another
queen of England with the name Anne. Books printed before the
reign of Queen Elizabeth II refer to Elizabeth I simple as Queen
Elizabeth.
