Is + used for anything in CXS? We could use it for putting a stroke
through a character in general: [j+] for [J\], [h+] for [X\], [?+] for
the epiglottal plosive symbol (who remembers what [>\] stands for?), and
so on. (This is essentially how it's used in APA.)
