I will defer to the other, wiser listmembers to answer your
questions--but I just wanted to say hello. :-) I, too, am a writer
first (in sf/f), though I've been interested in language/linguistics for
their own sakes for a long time. None of my published stories actually
use any real linguistics, but I hope to rectify that for future stories. =^)
