I can't remember the actual page but I was *just reading* yesterday an
article at The Straight Dope (www.straightdope.com) regarding how much
individual translators' versions of Nostradamus' original quatrains in
French have been twisted and maneuvered for dramatic effect. Part of the
article mentioned things such as one version leaving out an entire line, and
two versions, each with the same French word translated into a different
place name in each version.
And also, some of the predictions are so vague that they could apply to
anything...
