Curiously, I've been told by a Turkish Muslim girl who did her
apprenticeship in our household that the rosaries old Turkish muslim
men use are 'just toys, of no religious significance'... She _was_
religious herself, up to the point of having learnt her arabic letters
and Koran recitation. She was intrigued by the small rosary we keep on
our Icon corner (house altar - I don't think I really know what to call
it in English).
