This is the first substantial translation I've done into Denanan. It's from
"The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran:

Varabhán Kínnan.

Ka yokonáu iti báyan: "cas'alyá abhiyo".

Ka tso iti mantabayan: "yama zaláyá alánekayam la s'alika, cas'alika;

"Ka yama yavarryekayan arannáam la vácika, labekayam vácika,

"Ka ali cas'alyeko vanotira."

Interlinear:

Varabhán Kínnan.
--prophet-gen book-nom.

Ka yokonáu iti báyan: "cas'alyá abhiyo."
--and scholar-inst thus say-ppt: "talk-infin-acc speak-imperative."

Ka tso iti mantabayan: "yama zaláyá alánekayam la s'alika, cas'alika;
--and he-inst thus answer-ppt: "when peace-acc thought-your-pl-loc not
have-pres-2p, talk-pres-2p;

"Ka yama yavarryekayan arannáam la vácika, labekayam vácika,
--"and when heart-your-pl-gen solitude-loc not dwell-pres-2p,
lip-your-pl-loc dwell-pres-2p,

"Ka ali cas'alyeko vanotira."
--"and think-infin-nom talk-infin-your-inst kill-pres-indefinate"

Free translation:

Varabhán Kínnan.
The Book of the Prophet.

Ka yokonáu iti báyan: "cas'alyá abhiyo".
And a scholar said: "speak of talking".

Ka tso iti mantabayan: "yama zaláyá alánekayam la s'alika, cas'alika;
And he answered: "when you do not have peace in your thoughts, you talk;

"Ka yama yavarryekayan arannáam la vácika, labekayam vácika,
"And when you do not dwell in the solitude of your heart, you dwell in your
lips,

"Ka ali cas'alyeko vanotira."
"And your thinking is murdered by your talking"

So, what do you think?
