I'd like the former. It would also unify the Philippines as well (since
there is evidence that the Philippines probably were a part or at least
heavily connected to the Srivijaya empire). In fact, the Laguna
copperplate found near Laguna was written in Kawi, and suggests a heavy
link to Srivijaya (Antoon Postma i hear has verified that it isn't a
forgery, at least according to bibingka.com).
Hmm, it would be neat to do a pan-philippine lingua Franca. Like an actual
planned out language. Of course i hardly work on my own languages, so i
had better not jump into that :)
