A complete lexicon of Biblical Hebrew (e.g. Strong's) counts about 8,000 words
that use about 1,700 roots. If you have half of this number, it will be more
than usable. Just my opinion.
Pay attention: verbs like _qadesh_ 'to be holy', _qiddash_ 'to make holy',
_hiqdish_ 'to proclaim holy', _hitqaddesh_ 'to make oneself holy' are counted as
ONE WORD.
