Hmmm ... how many counters do you have? Personally, I think we should
go electronic. Electronic voting machines are more accurate, and have
less chance of accidental invalidation (i.e., people voting for two
different people), and count instantly.

Another possibility is to have a 24-hour voting period, so that ALL
places, worldwide, start voting and stop voting at the same time. This
could work with the electronic method mentioned before. So, US citizens
and soldiers outside of the country can cast their electronic ballots
during this 24-hour period, say, the traditional Voting Day for the
Eastern Time Zone, i.e., this year it would've been Midnight to midnight
(Eastern) of November 7. Central time zone would vote from Nov. 6,
23:00 to Nov. 7 23:00, etc.
