Are prefixes and suffixes required (and other misc questions)

Qusqul,

            I was just sitting looking at my language, and right now the
way to create new words is to find two words that pertain to the subject
and take the first 2-3 letters of that word and combine them with the
last 2-3-4 letter of the second word. Ten I got to thinking, well,
there's no real form to my new word, because the letter combinations
mean really nothing. (I should probably add in that I cheated and use
Langmaker to generate my words :P) What should I do? I dunno I think its
time to start a NEW language. ugh.
