I like the exciting historical books (Joshua, Judges, for instance) and
the poetic/poetry ones (Isaiah, Qohelet (Ecclesiastes?)) mostly. I
actually have to decide soon whether to go home for this coming weekend
or stay up at college where i'll be able to hear my friend Rich chant
Qohelet in synagogue. There's something about the tune, the way him and
his brother do it, and the content of the text that just go together very
beautifully.
