I should think religions and philosophies work heavily on the premise that
language has just these sorts of limits. One you start talking about it,
you've blown it. You just *know* [the term "know" obviously gets mercurial
here]. When communicating with other people, though, you can't just sit and
*know* at one another [though intuitiveness and silence are very cool]; you
have to use oblique forms of verbal communcation like metaphor or poetry, or
resort to non-verbal forms like art, music, or dance.
