Not to mention that, with the exception of an initial 2-mora syllable,
the pitch *never* changes between two morae of a syllable (the first two
morae of a word must always be different pitches). That is, if a
syllable consists of 2 morae, and it's not initial, the morae will
always be the same pitch.
