*Especially* when you're talking about countries like the US which is a
general mixture. English-Speaking Americans are descended from people
all on all the inhabited continents - Asians, Europeans, Africans,
Australians, North Americans, South Americans, and Pacific Islanders. A
person whose ancestors might've spoken !Xu~ or Chinese or French can be
found speaking English.
