No. Octopi don't, AFAIK, have a skeleton, yet they can use their

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. What else would they use
electromagnetic means for? Attacking other beings?
And, FWIU, no living thing has an electromagnetic *charge*, we're
overall neutral. But living things DO have an electromagnetic *field*.
