Re: Non-linear / full-2d writing systems?

Another set of ideas, for spice:

How would this system deal with metaphor, metonymy, blends, frames,
image schemas, and all those other wonderful Lakoff-described goodies
of human reasoning?

I can think of a couple ways, but I'd like to hear y'all's's* ideas on it first.
