:(((( ... I have no idea what "phagocytate" means, but wow, what a great word! ;-) I agree, though, that she probably wouldn't be too thrilled. After all, her original comments which got everybody so worked up were directed at the Celticonlang group on Yahoo, and the "native languages" she accused them of "cannibalising" were the Celtic languages.

At one point I was planning to create a "future Gaelic", with a phonology, grammar and syntax based on Manx Gaelic, the orthography based on Scottish Gaelic, and a lexicon based on Irish Gaelic. But that never happened. :) [or maybe :( ?] Thomas
