me a little more like devanagari and siddham, but not quite).
Anyway, it can be written with a simple edged pen, as you would do
blackletter calligraphy. In fact, that's the main reason i designed it
this way, just so i could use an edged pen for it.
While the thick and thin contrasts are important for this style, I don't
see why you couldn't write the letter forms with a ball point pen. It
looks interesting and not at all like the usual way to write it with a
ball point pen (which is much faster and more cursive looking).
