It's part of www.meetup.com, which is a site where people can try to find
others nearby of similar interest(s). I've been on it a couple of weeks,
primarily in hopes of finding some other "locals" in/near Seattle to sit on a
panel at NorWesCon 2005: Language & Sci-Fi.
