Not to the extent of the alleged Eskimo snow words, but Tirelhat has
individual words for different kinds of mice, bats, and other small animals
neglected by English (where English has to resort to compounds like "pocket
mouse" or "free-tailed bat", Tirelhat has "sika" and "parz"). Gjarrda has
specific words for different intensities of hot weather. Some of the Thrinn
languages have extensive kinship vocabularies that make distinctions
between different kinds of cousins.
