Seasons on a Dysen Sphere

Well, in the world I have, the moons are actually receptors for
pressor beams or like. Namely they rotate so as the world will
have day/night, sort of in the same direction as the sphere
around the central point (sun), but at a slower rate..
The whole problem as mentioned is that one of the "moons" is no
longer there and it is causing things to slowly destablize, not
sure how long it will take.. It was the subject of a screenplay
idea I had for a ST: Voyager episode..
