Interestin' word _Taia_! Derived from Greek _Gaia_??? There is no initial
'g' in your ConLang? Or is is _Taia_ "pidgin-ized" and vowel-harmonized
version of "Terra"?
.ur`-ae'u'm is undergoing further phonological revisions/orthographic
simplifications and the name has even changed slightly. In English: it's
Aum-Ur (hehe, like um ehr... uhm er...)
<tentative ideas> _Gaia_ is - in Aum-Ur - _ xa'ia _
/ka_h.i.a:/(sound-symbolically linked to the word _xi_ /ki:/[like the Chinese
word _ch'i_, Japanese word _gi_ ] and - possibly, the word _xa'zmoz_
/ka_hz.moz/ "cosmos").
The phonological inventory of consonants (and perhaps even the vowels) I
have in mind is asymmetrical (no /g/ or /f/,/b/ ferinstance, but use of /k_h/
or /tS/ and /v/,/v_h/)
More details later...
