Tokana webpage progress report (II)

In a fit of creativity and/or irresponsibility, I just spent the entire
afternoon and evening, about 10 hours in all, working on the html version
of the Tokana Reference Grammar. I got through formatting about half of
the 150-odd pages of hardcopy text, so at this rate I should have the web
pages ready to be uploaded onto the web by the end of the week. (Having
just finished preparing and sending off a whole pile of job applications
and conference abstracts, I feel like I deserve a break from 'serious' work
for a day or two... :-) )
After I finish the html-ification, it's just a matter of deciding where to
put the pages. Right now I'm leaning towards Geocities. What do other
people think of that option - aside from the problem of the pop-up windows?
I've also received several kind offers from people on the list who
wouldn't mind hosting my pages, but since it looks like they'll take up
a fair bit of space, I'm a bit reluctant to go that route - at least
until I've exhausted all other options.
As soon as the webpages are up and running, I'll let everybody know.
Cheers!
Matt.
