Thank you! They will be much better once I can get them recorded with
better musical accompaniment on my husband's digital recorder. I'm thinking
of looking into the Audacity software that Terry Donnelly mentioned.

No, not yet... I've never been a great performer, especially under pressure.
Especially with my husband holding the mike, setting the registers on the
TASCAM, and giving me the start signal. Hands get sweaty, heart pounds,
because perfection is EVERYTHING in a recording, and our little recorder
doesn't do cuts and pastes very well (you hear a definite cessation of sound
before the jump). I'm better when I'm alone or with a group of people.
HATED recitals. If "Audacity" can give me note by note control, I'd prefer
that, but I wonder if the program will record my singing? I'm much more
confident when I'm moving my vocal chords than when I'm moving my fingers
over a keyboard. Don't know why. But I'll work on it!
