I've heard [AN"qai] and [AN"q&i] ([N] is uvular there) before, which are
probably variants upon the same. but never actually with a syllabic nasal.
And the people who say it spell it more like 'unky' or 'unkay'. Personally,
it seems more like a negative to me (I sometimes say /nANk&i/ for 'not
okay' (but normally /"nouk&i/))
