No, I caught it. Here's what you say in your attachment: All letters are pronounced as they are pronounced in English each letter and syllable being pronounced distinctly, with no diphthongs, except for the following: Here you're talking about the writing system of the language you've made. The others on this list, including me, were asking you about the sound system, however you might actually write that down. Sound systems can vary signficantly from language to language, and you made no indication that you had any /p/ (the sound). You only made a comment about <p> (the orthographic symbol). Just a note about the notation system here that we use: < > brackets denote the *written* form a word may take; e.g. "tie" <tie> / / solidi denote the *phonemic* form of the word. Phonemes are a relative measure of the sound produced, in terms of what the speakers recognize as distinct. E.g. "tie" /tai/ [ ] brackets denote the *phonetic* form a word may take. Phones are an absolute measure of the sound produced, inasmuch as phones show subtle distinctions in the sound being made that doesn't register in the speaker's conscious understanding of the language. e.g. "tie" [t_haj] Generally speaking, we also use quotes to indicate the concept involved. (I'm sure you understand this; I just want to make sure we aren't misunderstanding each other here simply because of notation)

Well, it seems more than one person has found that your posts have lines that are longer than normal. Unless it's a problem with your ISP, you might want to see if there's some setting you've missed to fix it.
