There is Chinese propaganda on the subject (the Zh. are China's largest
minority, although they are pretty well assimilated with the Han in
all points except the language they speak at home), and there is
a fair-sized book containing a history of the Zh. from the Warring States
(pre-Qin) period until about 1940, including their close relatives the
Nung of Vietnam, but which has nothing on the language.
The martial arts style called Zhuang Quan/Nanman Quan uses shouts in
Zh. to channel qi.
