It definitely has that ordered civilized look that most conlangs lack
due to ugly consonant clusters or abundant diacritics. I didn't mean
Latin in particular; Greek and Quenya have that same air of orderly
majesty.

I'm not attached to my prejudices. I probably should call them
ignorances anyway. ;-)
And I know how misspellings can be painful. I've been involved
with a computer game including the three alien strands Igadzra,
Zidagar and Azdgari (all acronyms). You wouldn't believe the
abominations some careless players do to these names when referring
to them on a messageboard!

That's why I used a direct translation of "soft ware" in Jovian.
You might recognize |mers moelle| as a Jovianised version of Latin
|merx mollis| "soft merchandise". ;-)
