Is the poll even necessary? We've just had complaints that Conlang is too clogged with OT stuff. Here's an actual opportunity to talk ABOUT conlangs! Most of mine aren't anything special, usually IE or something in that general neighbourhood. Queranaran and Anian are different kettles of fish, though. The one is the Daine language (really a sort of interlanguage, when you get down to it) and has left strong influences on the human languages around (only a few details worked out yet); the latter is an ancient human language and shows not a little Daine influence. The pronoun systems and the gendered verbs are such influence. Talarian is in the vicinity of IE or IH. Like Jörg's Atlantean (Q), it fits in somewhere on the edge of IE. Perhaps a little closer in, even.

Or do what I'd do and pick none! Padraic. ===== la cieurgeourea provoer mal trasfu ast meiyoer ke 'l andrext ben trasfu. -- Ill Bethisad -- <http://www.geocities.com/elemtilas/ill_bethisad> Come visit The World! -- <http://www.geocities.com/hawessos/> .
