The list was open membership when I wrote that, but because of obscene spam sent to the list I now manually approve members. Actually, using the Yahoo! Group is the recommendation of last resort. I'd prefer you create your own web site. But I often get asked by people who just want to upload a Word document, and that site is perfect for that. If someone has a better idea for free conlang hosting, let me know. I did point people to some of the conlang wikis, but they typically require contributors to surrender copyright... - Jeffrey
