I don't know why....just for some reason, i've always pronounced
"lunatic" differently whether it's a noun or a verb.
Noun (crazy person) = /'lunatik/
Adjective (crazy) = /lu'n&tik/ (with the flap t of "butter")
So, for instance, i call Sally's project the "lunAtic survey", and the
After Dark screensaver game "lunAtic fringe", but ask my brother if he's
a "lUnatic" when he does something crazy.
Is this incorrect?
Does it make me a lunatic? :)
