Reminds me of my first apartment as an undergraduate so many many years ago.
I referred to it as my Raskolnikov Room. It had room for a bed, a folding
chair and a desk, nothing else. No kitchen, community bathroom down the
hall. My second apartment was luxurious by comparison. Its address was 1
City Alley, it had a kitchen, bedroom and toilet, the bathtub was in the
kitchen and the kitchen looked out over the railroad tracks.
Those were the days?
