Quine (the logician) says that most people write "rhinoceri";
some vaguely remember that the word is Greek, and conjecture
"rhinoceroi". But the true plural of the grim beast is
"rhinocerotes", four syllables.
(Of course "rhinoceroses" is the standard form.)
