We had a similar prank a few years ago here at Vanderbilt. Someone put a
pumpkin on the head of our statue of Cornelius Vanderbilt. Much to the
university's credit, they didn't have it taken off until it started to
rot. Someone in Kirkland (the admin building) must have thought it was hilarious.
