Well, I've been creating roots for the general ancestor language for now,
and I have created the following roots so far (I hope I got the X-Sampa
right):
Adjectives for proper names
Bear like = [GOs]
Beloved = [sE]
Bitter = [Tis]
Blessed = [h\u]
Brave = [sjY]
Chief = [pe]
Compassionate = [Ys]
Constant = [i]
Desired = [fos]
Divine = [sYs]
Eagle like = [es]
Earnest = [ku]
Falcon like = [is]
Famous = [u]
Flowering = [Go]
Fortunate = [spO]
Fox like = [sjus]
Free = [sjYs]
Hallowed = [h\O]
Happy = [sxi]
Industrious = [tu]
Laughing = [To]
Lion like = [Tis]
Loyal = [tus]
Manly = [os]
Mighty = [kYs]
Noble = [tis]
Northern = [Gos]
Patriotic = [xo]
Peaceful = [us]
Powerful = [pY]
Praiseworthy = [fu]
Prayerful = [sje]
Protecting = [pOs]
Pure = [fYs]
Ready = [ti]
scharp = [xus]
schining = [jE]
Small = [fO]
Strong = [TO]
Strong willed = [jus]
Swift = [spOs]
Valiant = [fis]
Victorious = [sjis]
War's = [jYs]
Wealthy = [tO]
Wise = [ke]
Wolf-like = [jo]
Worthy = [jos]
Young = [jOs]
There is no written system for this language, as when this was spoken
writing hadn't been invented yet.
I was wondering what you though of this.
Cheers,
Geijss Streijde
