Hello everybody!
I just had to thank you all for your helpful answers. I almost expected having
to wait a day or two for answers, instead I get them directly. =)
I've checked out http://www.cix.co.uk/~morven/lang/vowels.html , a very fine site
indeed. I'm just a little irritated that HTML doesn't support IPA letters
apparently.
I was a little amused to see that Swedish has, by some counts, 23 distinct
vowels. That's quite a collection. =)
