Probably not strangely at all, her picture of the "typical language
creator" fits Zamenhof pretty much exactly (what about Schleyer? I know he
was religious, but did he look that way too?). I think Marina looked at
pictures of him and generalised from there, thinking that every conlanger
*had* to be like Zamenhof...

I know I am, so it should be possible :)) . Note that I'm also an optimist,
and pessimism and optimism aren't opposed in my opinion. My pessimism and
optimism just don't apply to the same things.
