Instead of doing homework tonight, I created an online, searchable
version of my Asha'ille lexicon! I'd appreciate comments on it:
http://arthaey.mine.nu:8080/~arthaey/conlang/lexicon.cgi
There are still known problems with it, especially the encoding (it's
all supposed to be UTF-8/Unicode, but the etymology, see-also, and
information areas like displaying malformed data instead). You can
search for English glosses by regular expressions (if multiple matches
are found, only the first is reported), but Asha'ille words must be
typed in full. If you type in values for both Asha'ille and English
and click Search, the English value will be ignored.
Despite these limitations, it's still useful/interesting.
I'm developing on Linux and testing with Firefox v1.0PR. If you're
using something different and the page renders unusable or horribly
ugly for you, please let me know. As you can see from the
button-images at the bottom of my page, I'm trying to make the page
browser- and OS-agnostic. :)
