Is this really possible for birds? I never knew this. I'm hoping the
answer is "yes," because I'd like to make it an anatomical feature in
one of the loquent races in my conworld.
I've included some other anatomical features in various loquent beings
such as:
1. The flea's mechanism for jumping very high.
2. The ability to see ultraviolet & infrared.
3. The tapetum for increased visual acuity.
4. Gills.
5. hollow bones such as birds have.
