In the USA, they tried for a time to associate with what became the OCA
(Orthodox Church in America), but the OCA was more an "immigrant church",
while the groups that became ROCA over here were more a "refugee
church".  They didn't get along and still don't.  Each considers the
other to have "betrayed" Russia in some way.
