Not sure where this would fit in, or what it would be called (maybe a form
of 'nomen patientis', patient-noun)-- for your "learning" ex., what about
_lesson_ (thing-to-be-learned/taught) ?

For a concept like 'love, like', would you want to distinguish between
"person-who-is-loved/liked" vs. "thing-that-is-loved/liked"?
