META: Message delivery order (WAS: Re: The English/French counting system)

Somewhat off-topic or at least meta: does anyone else here tend
to get conlang messages wildly out of order?  I have yet to
see the message from Isidora to which Joe is replying below,
for instance.  And this is not an isolated occurrence . . .
